A patient is identified as requiring specialty medication therapy for hemophilia or another bleeding disorder. This may come through a physician referral, a hospital discharge, or a direct request for care.
2. Prescription received
The prescription is sent to DeliverIt Pharmacy by the provider electronically, by fax, or phoned in directly. Our team confirms receipt and begins processing the order immediately.
3. Pharmacy review
Our pharmacy team at DeliverIt confirms the referral, reviews the prescription, and processes the order. We verify all clinical details to ensure accuracy and safety before moving forward.
4. Insurance clearance
Our dedicated support team assists the patient in obtaining prior authorization from their insurance provider. We communicate directly with the provider and insurer so the patient never has to navigate that process alone.
5. Co-pay assistance check
For qualified patients, our team checks eligibility for manufacturer co-pay assistance programs and other financial support options. We work to reduce or eliminate out of pocket costs wherever possible.
6. Prescription filled
Once clearance is obtained, the prescription is filled by our licensed pharmacy team. The patient and their provider are both notified that the medication is ready.
7. Free delivery or pick up
The patient chooses how they want to receive their medication. Schedule a free delivery to anywhere in Texas or pick up directly from our center at their convenience.
